This is my submission for my Multimodal Literacy Project . I hope you enjoy playing! (For grading purposes, I have also included both a transcription for my project and the actual code for my game in the Devlog. This is so that anyone can easily find all my responses without having to play the game over and over. Citations will be found there as well!)

For my modality,  I decided to use a video game in order to convey my varying forms of literacy and how I have personally interpreted the readings throughout this course. I wanted to incorporate an interactive game that tells my story because I truly do believe in the power of active learning and I believe games are the future when it comes to engaging with students. I have seen several projects re-invent the concepts of boring, strict lesson plans into flourishing moments of deep intellectual stimulation and engagement in students. I also personally love playing through games as they have been a major part of my childhood and hobby, so I thought it would best reflect my personal voice in context of a Literacy Autobiography as well.

For this project, I tried my best to make my story as engaging as possible. With various sound effects, music, mini games and the opportunity for the user to "explore" the school and its unconventional classrooms, I aim to display my ideas in a vulnerable and immersive way.

Above all, I want my reader/viewer to enjoy my game. I've tried to make the graphics and background music as pleasant and user-friendly as possible, as well as specifically developed this game to be played in-browser (So that there is no confusing applications, plug-ins, or extensions to download). I truly hope you enjoy playing my game, and I deeply appreciate your engagement. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Nodi Khan
